Jockey Club Chamber Concert Series - the Earth Gaia 2

To echo with the Hong Kong Arts Month, Lee Tung Avenue & Citywalk will bring in UK artist, Luke Jerram's latest touring artwork, Gaia, to all art & cultural lovers in Hong Kong this spring!  

A joint project between Urban Renewal Authority, Sino Land Company Limited and Hopewell Holdings Limited,the breathtaking 7-meter artwork features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth' surface taken in 1972 and has been touring in England, Ireland and Taiwan. 

To celebrate its very first landing in Hong Kong, Luke has tailored-made a self-rotation gimmick to the masterpiece. And us, partnering with the Hong Kong String Orchestra and WWF-Hong Kong, will present a program with music about the spring, environment, and our planet earth to our audience in Hong Kong, to promote green living and encourage people young and old to incorporate low-carbon practices into their daily lives!

ザルツブルク モーツァルト国際室内楽コンクール2019 / SALZBURG MOZART International Chamber Music Competition 2019

Cong Quartet will be participating in the SALZBURG MOZART International Chamber Music Competition 2019. Tickets are available for public admission of the competition at 1000 yen per day per person.

We will be playing in the final at the 5pm session on 20th Feb.

8th Robert Mann String Quartet Institute

The Cong Quartet will participate in the 8th annual Robert Mann String Quartet Institute hosted by Manhattan School of Music in January 2-6, 2019. Up to six of North America’s most promising young string quartets and special guests will take part in a series of master classes to be taught by a faculty that includes David Geber, Nicholas Mann, members of the American String Quartet, Kazuhide Isomura, Samuel Rhodes, and Mark Steinberg. On the concluding day of the Institute program (6th Jan), there will be a public performance at Manhattan School of Music showcasing each of the participating quartets.
